New Volvo FH Added to fleet

After an extremely busy year for the Kevin Guy Scania with Fassi 85 tonne metre hiab 32 metre reach truck driven by James Guy we decided it was time to add another truck to the fleet and so in October this year we purchased a new Volvo FH, the truck was then sent it to The Crane Centre at Sandbach to have a Fassi 82 tonne metre Hiab fitted with fly jib with a 30 metre reach.

Our experienced driver, Ian Harrison, was charged with taking the wagon out on its first job at the end of November, this was to lift a hot tub out of a back garden, with the only access from the road this meant going over the drive and over the house to place the hot tub in the garden, we work with the hot tub company regular and they were very impressed with the new wagon and its capabilities.

The new Volvo has also been out lifting roof trusses for customers, all of which are very happy with the way it gets the job done efficiently and quickly partnered with our experienced operators.

Ian has recently also spent his first night out in the wagon and said it is a very comfortable and spacious cab with plenty of storage space.
